Tuesday 30th January saw us celebrate Safer Internet Day 2024 around school.
As well as special Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 assemblies, and age specific Internet Safety lessons, we also invited parents into school for the afternoon.
Starting with tea and cake, we had a fantastic discussion with those parents in attendance about both the challenges, as well as the fantastic benefits, of children growing up in the age of the internet.
After this, parents joined their children in their Safer Internet Day class lesson to better understand how Computing is taught at Moorcroft Wood and engage and join in with the differentiated Safer Internet Day activities going on around school.
