The internet has changed the world of gaming!
Gone are the days of having two controllers and only being able to play with the person sitting beside you.
As well as being able to play against people from all over the world, today’s consoles enable you to do a lot of other online activities such as purchase additional content for games, surf the internet and even just video chat with friends.
With these benefits however, also come some e-safety risks to your family.
But did you know ALL games consoles from Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo have controls and apps to help you minimise these risks?
These controls include…
- Setting up parental controls.
- Restricting internet access.
- Block access to content based on age ratings.
- How to block and report players.
