Unfortunately, children will get ill from time to time. The attached booklet (The Spotty Book), produced by Public Health England, offers information and guidance about a range of common childhood illnesses including details about whether or not a child is able to attend school with a certain illness.
You can also see an exclusion table, which gives information about how long a child should remain at home if they are unwell.
