Implementation

A topic based curriculum which is well planned for across all 7 areas of learning in which all pupils have access to.
Vocabulary is a high priority and words are built upon and recapped regularly.
Prior knowledge is built upon daily.
Children are taught about the local and wider world through weekly circle time activities to develop a knowledge for later life.

Daily books are read to develop vocabulary and communication skills. Including 1000 stories initiative for parents at home.
Videos, songs, stories/books, photographs/ pictures are used to present information clearly to children.
The environment is created to support and extend learning. Role play areas are changed half termly.
Children’s work and voice is celebrated across displays.
Class book (pink book) is used to celebrate new learning experiences.
Parent workshops are run to support learning and developmental stages.
