Walsall Council Children's Services have issued 26 fixed penalty notices for unauthorised leave of absence and persistent absence.
The cost is currently £60 per parent if paid within 21 day, rising to £120 per parent at 28 days.
It is important that medical evidence is provided to cover your child's absence and will ensure the correct code is recorded in the register.
