English

We were writing a diary entry based on one of the characters from our book, 'Orphans of the Tide'. 

We wrote a newspaper report about the Blitz Bombings during WW2 which related to our class book for this half term, Letters from the Lighthouse

We wrote a persuasive leaflet encouraging people to visit Camp Green Lake, based on our work when reading Holes.

History

We made a timeline to show the reign of the Shang Dynasty Kings and Queens.

Maths

In maths we have been using concrete resources to deepen our understanding.

We were looking at Mahatma Gandhi and discussing why he is an influential person to Sikhs.

Celebrating Black History Month

We created a piece of art work based on Barak Obama to celebrate Black History Month. We looked a why he is a significant individual and what he has done for others that has made him influential.
