Dear Parents /Carers,
Some exciting news!!! To mark and celebrate World Book Day this year, school will be holding a Virtual Book Fair. This project is being organised in conjunction with our Usborne Organiser, Lucy Broadbent and Usborne, who will also be providing us with some amazing new books for our school for free, depending on the amount raised.
How will it work?
Lucy will add a range of videos and posts to promote the amazing books she has got available to you. There will be books and activities to suit a range of ages. This will include fiction, non-fiction, educational books and craft activities.
If you would like to order any of the books you can comment on a post or message Lucy directly. She will then inform you of payment details and she will place your order for you. The books will go directly to school and when they arrive they will be given out to your child by their class teacher.
When: Date: 8th March – 12th March 2021
Where: A private Facebook group - (A link for this will also
be provided on our schools Facebook page)
Time: Videos and posts will be added throughout the day
from Monday – Friday.
We would love for you to attend the virtual book fair and purchase some fantastic high quality books for your children. This in turn, will enable our school to earn some new books for all our pupils to access, in order to promote their love of reading and reading for pleasure.
