Good Morning Year 3
It has been great to see everything that you’ve been doing so far this week, the buntings that some of you have made for VE Day are super!
Today in English we would like to you to complete an activity all about VE Day, we would like your thoughts on Victory In Europe Day and why it should be celebrated. In the resources section on the Year 3 class page you will be able to find the ‘VE Day Thoughts’ document. We would also like you to write a short diary entry, we need you to imagine that you are a soldier on the front line during The Second World War. You have just found out that war in Europe is over, please write about your experience and how you are feeling.
In Maths today we would like you to log onto Mathletics and complete some of the fractions activities, we know that you have been working so hard on fractions this past week so we thought it would be a good idea to test your new knowledge with some Mathletics games.
Below is the link to the 6 times table song on Super Movers. If you feel like having a little dance and learning your 6 times tables then click on the link below.

It would be great to see what daily exercise you are all doing today. You may want to play football, ride your bike or play hide and seek in the garden. Remember the ‘Outdoor Home Learning Bingo Card’ has some really great activities for you to do so please take a look at that.
As always we are available on Class Dojo and Facebook so if you have any questions please just ask. Dojo points are awarded for each piece of completed work that we see, we also give dojo points for reading so make sure you find time to read during the day.
Have a great day and stay safe.
