Your first task for today is to complete the RWI lesson for Set 3 sound ‘oi’. Click on the link below and select Set 3 sound ‘oi’ lesson.

Maths
We will be online promptly at 9.55am on Google Classroom for 15 minutes to look at our Maths lesson for today. You will need pages 1 and 2 of the Maths Workout CGP Books.
These pages are looking at number and place value. We would like you to spell the numbers in words and write the numbers in digits.
There are some partitioning questions in the book.
This is when we split the numbers in to tens and ones for example 46 would become 40 tens and 6 ones
It also asks you to how many hundreds are in a 3 digit number. The order of a number goes hundreds, ten and ones. For example 523, this number has 5 hundreds.
There are also some involving writing the largest number using the digits given for example 2, 5 would become 52.

English
We will be online again for 15 minutes to look at our English for today. Please promptly log on at 11.35am. You will need your Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling CGP book, we would like you to complete page 1 ‘Nouns’.
A noun is the name of an item, place or person, for example Mrs Etheridge is a noun as it is the name of someone. Table is a noun because it is a name of an object.
Once you have completed the questions in your work book, please use your blue lined book to write 5 sentences using nouns.
For example:
Mrs Joesbury went for a walk.

Geography
This afternoon we well be completing some Geography. In Geography we are starting a new topic on China. Today we would like you to locate China on a map. Please read the attached PowerPoint telling all about China. Once you have read the power point please us the link below to take you to an interactive map:

Use the left button and mouse to scroll to locate China. You can double click on China and it will show you more detail of the names of the cities. Please use the interactive map to complete the worksheet provided on locating China and it’s major cities. If you do not have a printer that is fine just send us pictures of you pointing at the locations on the interactive map.
