Good morning everyone,
I hope you are all ok. Today we are going to have a look at a story map of the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. This is something that we have not done before, but is chance to talk about the events in a story and put them in order. Using language such as first, next, then, last or in the end helps to put the events in order.
Remember, this is only a suggested activity and I am sure you will have your own excellent ideas for activities to do.

Try to print the above file which is a story map of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Can you work with an adult to put the pictures in the correct order. You will have to talk a lot about the story to do this.

The next sound in the RWI scheme that we use at school is 'sh'. This is a single sound that is made using two letters for example in the word fish which is made up of the sounds f i sh. It is one of the more tricky sounds at this stage because it is the first sound that the children have come across that is made of two letters.
