Good Morning Year 3
Well done for another wonderful day of home schooling, we know that it must be difficult working from home and we appreciate all of the hard work that you, your parents and your carers are putting in, so thank you!

We would like you to open week 1 and go down to lesson 3 which is all about tenths. Please watch the video and then complete the activity below. As always you do not have to print the activity out, you can write your answers down on a piece of paper! Once you have answered all of the questions you can click the ‘get the answers’ link and mark your work yourselves if you would like to.
In English today we are continuing to work from the Talk for Writing booklet. By now you will be familiar with the text ‘The Truth about Trolls’, but if you would like to start by scanning the text again and refreshing your memory then feel free. For todays task we would like you to complete the adverb activities on pages 10 and 11. The Talk for Writing booklet can be found on the class page on the school website or above on Class Dojo.
Today we would like you to show off your artistic skills. We know that we are not able to see all of our family at the moment which is very difficult so maybe you could draw a portrait of them by looking at a photograph you may have, or you could choose to draw a portrait of someone in your house. Please follow the hints and tips in the link at the bottom of the page, good luck and we can’t wait to see your creations.
As always we ask that you try and find some time during the day to read, it would be lovely to hear you reading again as it’s been a while so if you could send a video of yourself reading that would be lovely 😊
