Good morning Year 3 :-) 

We hope that you are having a great week so far. It has been wonderful seeing all the hard work you’ve been doing, we’re so proud of you all! Please keep working on those board games and send us some pictures when they’re all finished, remember to keep them safe so we can play them together when we’re all back at school. 

For today’s home learning activities we would like you to use comprehension book 1 and complete the task on pages 4 and 5, make sure you read the text twice and refer back to the text when finding the answers. For Maths today we would like you to complete the activities on pages 3 and 4 which are all about place value and ordering. 

If you’d like to practise your times tables you can join in with Professor Pipette’s fun 3 times tables super movers song song.

As well as the CGP booklets we would also like you to complete the Literacy Whizz activity below.

Remember that homophones sound the same but have different spellings and meanings. Some of these words are tricky so feel free to use a dictionary if you are unsure of the meaning or ask an adult. We can’t wait to read some of your amazing sentences and share them on the Class Dojo story. 

Please could you try and read for 5 to 10 minutes, we would love to see pictures or videos of you reading to people and or pets in your house!
