This will begin on Monday 8th March and run across the course of next week up until Friday. The project is being organised in conjunction with our Usborne representative, Lucy Broadbent, who will be adding a range of videos and posts across the week to promote the amazing books that are available. There will be books to suit a range of ages, which will include fiction, non-fiction, educational books as well as craft activities.

Lucy has also informed us that alongside this, Usborne will be running their own competition for our families. As part of the competition they are inviting our children to draw and label their favourite book characters and there is a chance to win £10 to spend with them. Lucy will be putting together a video to explain how this will work. She will be asking our Early years to draw and label a favourite book character of their choice, Years One and Two to draw and write a sentence about their book character and Years Three, Four, Five and Six to draw and write a short character description of their favourite book character. You will then be asked to upload your child’s entry in the comments underneath her video. A winner will be selected and then announced on the Friday. (There will be an Early years/KS1 winner and a KS2 winner depending on entries).
