Welcome to the University of Southampton!

Hello, my name is Miss Millington. Welcome to our Reception Class Page. Whilst school is closed I will be posting daily home learning suggestions to this page. Please remember the ideas are simply suggestions as I know you all have your own great ideas and activities planned too.

It will be great to see what you are getting up to and learning whilst at home. Please send photos to either our Class Dojo page, Moorcroft Wood Facebook page or to the Early Years email address (EYFS@theatlasfederation.co.uk). I can't wait to see all of your fantastic work and give out dojos for your super efforts. We will still continue to have our weekly dojo winner and prizes will be given out when we are back at school.

Phonics Play - Free Access for Home Learning Phonics play is a fantastic website full of great resources. We love practising our sounds in Reception by playing the games they have to offer. Phonics play are now offering free access for a month to all parents/carers and children so you can play the games at home too. For children of Reception age we play games mostly on the 'Phase 2' section of the website. If you choose to play games on 'Phase 3' children know their single letter sounds (j, v, x, w, y and z), as well as special friends (qu, ch, sh, ng, nk, and th). Have fun!
