Welcome to the University of Bristol!
Hi, my name is Mr Lester welcome to our class page. Please take a look below at all the fantastic learning that has been taking place in Reception.
Also, why not visit our social media pages to see what's going on across school.
Now it's time for some Chinese New Year maths. Reception have worked hard to make Dragons from 2D shapes and order the animals in the Chinese Zodiac race.
Happy Chinese New Year from Reception.
We had a lovely morning making lanterns, envelopes and masks and also had a super go at retelling the story of the Chinese Zodiac.
After that we had a Chinese themed snack time with noodles, spring rolls and prawn crackers to build up our strength for dragon boat racing later!
Thank you to those parents who were able to attend the Reception maths workshop this morning.
Roy shared some fantastic ideas and games with us that can be used to support learning at home.
Reception love arts and crafts! We enjoyed creating our very own colourful elephants. Now we have a herd of Elmers.
Thank you to all our Reception children and parents for the lovely 'All about me' bags that have been brought back so far. I can't wait to find out more about you all during this week. Keep them coming!
Reception love practising their sounds in choosing time!
Reception have been asked what they would like to be when they grow up. We have a class full of budding Firefighters, Mechanics, Bakers, Singers, Doctors, Nurses, vest and much much more!
Reception had a letter from Big Skeleton from Funnybones today!
He asked us to help him fix his dog. We used our super cutting skills to put the dog skeleton back together.
Our sound for the day is 'S'.
Can you find anything at home that begins with 'S'?
Nursery are busy again today!
Ranger Chris shows Nursery what happens when a tree is cut down.
Nursery had a wonderful time in the Woods with the RSPB.
We looked at using our senses to explore our environment!
