Moorcroft Wood Primary School Nursery has its very own uniform.

Children are asked to wear a purple jumper, white t-shirt, black jogging bottoms or trousers, grey skirt/ leggings and black shoes/ trainers. Summer dresses are also acceptable in purple and white check.

If you wish to purchase your child’s uniform with the school logo on, this can be ordered from Clemmy’s in Darlaston. If you do not wish to purchase a school logo uniform, several shops should be able to provide uniform in these colours.

Your child will be provided with a P.E kit from school. This is simply a white t-shirt and black shorts and it will remain in school where it will be washed regularly.   During the summer term we may ask you to provide trainers/pumps for your child to do PE outside.

Please can you ensure all of your child’s uniform is labelled with their name as this will make it easier to reunite children with lost property. NAMES MUST BE WRITTEN IN ALL CLOTHING.

Nail polish, extreme haircuts and transferable tattoos are not permitted at Moorcroft Wood.

Spare Clothes

At times, Nursery can be a messy place and we ask parents to supply their children with spare clothes in case accidents occur. We do have some spare clothes available in case of accidents, but not many.  Please make sure any clothes belonging to school are returned as soon as possible.

Aprons are provided to protect the children’s clothes when necessary, but sometimes accidents do occur. On most days children need to have warm clothes to wear outside. When it is sunny we advise that children wear clothing that protects them, as well as a sun hat and sun block that you put on at home.

We apologise in advance that uniforms may get messy at school especially as we favour a ‘learning through play’ approach.
