Good Morning Year 3!

Another fantastic day of work and additional work that you completed at home. You all really know how to put a smile on our faces. J You have already hit your 400 dojo point target. Keep it up as the more the more points the bigger to surprise when we return back to school!

Today we would like you to get your tablets, phones or laptops out and play ‘Hit The Button’ using your times tables. We would like you to concentrate on 2,3,4,5,8 and 10 times tables but feel free to mix it up for a challenge. The person with the highest number of correct answers gets 5 dojos. We’ve attached the link below.

In English we would like you to work in comprehension book one and complete pages 8 and 9.  Remember in class we ask you to read the text twice before looking at the questions. Once the text has been read twice we then move on to the questions. You need to find the answer in the text underline/ highlight it and then write your answer in a sentence.

Get creative this afternoon! Have a look at the Easter competition posted on our Class Dojo page and class page on the website. We have also reattached the information to this post. Come on Year 3 one of us can win the competition!

We would also like you to continue with the following:

‘My Nutrition Diary (I have attached a link for one on the class page and on Class Dojo but feel free to create your own if you do not have a printer). The diary includes what you ate that day and which nutrient was provided by which food you ate.

To learn the Makaton signs for ‘I Can Sing a Rainbow.’ We will be learning this with you with the hope of creating a class video of us all completing it. I have attached a link to the signs and song to copy. If you could send us the videos of you signing to the messages on Class Dojo this will make it easier to put the video together as a class. We thought we could dedicate this video to the NHS staff.

Please could you try and read for 5 to 10 minutes today. We would like to see pictures of you reading in the strangest place can find at home.

If you require any help or assistance please do not hesitate to contact us on the Class Dojo page or on our school Facebook page.

Remember there are Dojo points up for grabs for every picture we see of completed work and points for going above and beyond by completing extra tasks.

Have  an amazing day and stay safe.
