Good Morning Year 3!

Wow! Another brilliant day of work again yesterday. You are all fantastic!yes

In English we would like you to learn all about recounts and then write a recount about yourself. Remember, a recount is when you describe an event that you’ve experienced to someone who wasn’t there. You could recount anything: a day at school, a sports game you took part in or even a dream you had. Please click on the link below:

We wold like you to watch the videos and then complete the activities. We can’t wait to read the recounts you write about yourselves.

In Maths we are continuing to look at multiplication and division. We would like you to click on this link:

We would like you to click on Summer Term Week 4 (w/c 11th May) lesson 3 ‘Divide a 2 digit number by a 1 digit number’ and watch the video. We would then like you to complete the tasks given on the BBC Bitesize link below:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zbkdjhv

You do not have to print this off you can show your workings on a blank piece of paper if that is easier.

We would like you to complete some Science today. In Science we are starting a new topic of ‘Plants’ and today we are looking at parts of a plant. First, we would like you read the PowerPoint attached above on Class Dojo and on our class page on the website. Once you have read the PowerPoint your task is to label parts of a plant and complete the leaflet on plants by filling in the missing words.

Please could you also read for 5-10 minutes today. Maybe you could read about plants or read a recount.

If you require any help or assistance please do not hesitate to contact us on the Class Dojo page or on our school Facebook page.

Remember there are Dojo points up for grabs for every picture we see of completed work and points for going above and beyond by completing extra tasks.

Have an amazing day and stay safe.

Mrs Etheridge and Mrs Joesbury
