Tuesday 2nd February 2021

Hi everyone,

This week is mental health week.  The theme of mental health week this year is 'Express Yourself'.  On Friday, it is a non-uniform day and children are being encouraged to come to school wearing clothing to express themselves.  This could be brightly coloured clothing or even costumes.  I know you are learning from home, but if you wanted to take part you could send a photograph on dojo and I will share it with the children in class.

Here are some activity suggestions for today.  I have included some links relating to mental health week and there is a cosmic yoga activity to try for relaxation.  I have also included a link to the next sound which is 'h'.  Don't forget to try and blend the sounds that you have learned so far.

As always, these are only suggestions.

Kind Regards,

Mr Leese

We have been looking at the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.  In the story the bears live in a cottage in the woods and eat porridge.  In real life bears do not do that.  See if an adult can help you find out a little bit about different bears.  It does not have to be very detailed.

Maybe you could find out what a baby bear is called, find out the names of two different types of bear and what they eat.  You may want to draw a picture of your favourite type of bear.
