Good Morning Year 3!

Another wonderful day of work and additional work that you completed at home. You all really know how to make us smile. :)

Today in English we would like you to get comprehension book 1 out and complete pages 12 and 13. Remember in class we ask you to read the text twice before looking at the questions. Once the text has been read twice we then move on to the questions. You need to find the answer in the text underline/ highlight it and then write your answer in a sentence.

In Maths today we are following on from our division from yesterday with challenge card questions, these are multiplication and division questions. You do not need to print them off, we have attached a copy of the questions on our class page on the website. You need to put the questions into a multiplication or division maths story and find the answer. Remember you can use your multiplication square and sharing to help you.

We would also like you to compete a bit of Geography this afternoon. As we are looking at Ancient Egypt in History we would like you to locate Egypt on a map. We would like to know what continent it is on, what ocean/ sea is around it and the names of any countries that boarders with Egypt.

In your ‘My 2020 Covid-19 Time Capsule Booklet’ we would like you to draw two pictures today. One of where you are living and the other of who you are living with. We would also like you to draw around the hands of everyone who you live with, you may also wish to include your pets. Remember to wash your hands before you start this task.

Please could you try and read for 5 to 10 minutes today. We would like to see pictures of you reading to your favourite toy.

If you require any help or assistance please do not hesitate to contact us on the Class Dojo page or on our school Facebook page.

Remember there are Dojo points up for grabs for every picture we see of completed work and points for going above and beyond by completing extra tasks.

Have an amazing day and stay safe.
