Good Morning Year 3

We hope that everyone enjoyed the sunshine yesterday and managed to find some time to complete some of the home learning activities.

As tomorrow is VE Day we would like you to plan your own VE Day party. In wartime, British people had to ration many items including food so you will need to look at the rations  document in the resources section which details a typical weeks rations, this will help you when planning your party.  You’ll need to think about guests that you’ll invite to the party, preparations and special decorations that you may want to make. You may even want to make some of the food that you’ll be serving at your VE Day party.

In Maths today we would like you to complete some fraction word problems. Don’t worry about printing the document, you can write the answers on another piece of paper. You may also want to show your working out on another piece of paper as this will help you to get the correct answer. The fractions questions can be found in the resources section on the class homepage.

In History today we would like you to complete a comprehension all about Tutankhumun’s Tomb. Please read the text twice before answering the questions. Remember this counts towards your daily reading so you’ll get a reading dojo for completing this task too.

As always we’re available to contact on Class Dojo and Facebook. We love seeing what you're up to during the day so please send pictures and messages. You don’t have to just tell us about the school work that we’ve set, you might want to share other fun things that you’ve been doing with your family.

Have a great day and stay safe.
