Today is the official 'World Book Day'. As stated on last weeks newsletter, at Moorcroft we will be celebrating this next Thursday by dressing up as our favourite book characters, as well as taking part in many book related activities throughout the week. We can still mark the occasion today by taking part in activities at home, details of which can be seen by clicking on the 'Literacy' star below. To allow you to spend more time on World Book Day activities, I have left the timetable off our class page for today and taken out the topic work.
To mark and celebrate World Book Day this year, school will also be holding a virtual book fair for the week commencing 8th March 2021. This virtual book fair will run across the course of the week up until Friday 12th March. You will be able to access this via a link on our school's Facebook page. If you click on the link it will add you to a closed, private group for Moorcroft's virtual book fair. Further details on this can also be found on last week's newsletter or just drop me a message on dojo if you would like to know more.
