History

In History we are going to continue with our topic about the Victorians. Last week we leant all about Queen Victoria. What can you remember about her?

This week we are going to look at the life of a Victorian child. On our class page we have attached a PowerPoint all about the daily life of a Victorian child. Please read through the PowerPoint carefully. Once you have read it we would like you to compare the life of a Victorian child to a child now and think about the similarities and differences. All of the documents can be found in the resources section of the class webpage or you can complete the task in your blue writing book.

In Maths today we are carrying on with patterns of shapes and colour.

A pattern keeps repeating itself over and over and can consist of a 2 different features, such as colours and shapes, or can use more.

If we have a pattern that goes blue hexagon, blue rectangle, orange hexagon, orange rectangle to continue this pattern we would need to start again with the blue hexagon.

You activity for today is to complete the patterns worksheet on our class page. You need to continue the pattern with the next three and then draw the 12th picture in the pattern sequence.
