Hello Year 3 :-)
We wanted to start by saying a big well done for all the wonderful work you did yesterday, we’re really impressed with everything you’ve done and are so proud to be your teachers!
For today’s English task we would like you to write your very own book review. This review can be based on the library or school book that you have at home with you now or it can be a review of one of your favourite books. We have attached a book review template at the bottom of this message which you can print out. If you don’t have access to a printer you can use the template to give you some ideas. Remember you need to include the title of the book and the author, information about the main characters, a short description of what the book is about and if you would recommend the book.
In Maths today we would like you to complete the time problems in your maths books, sorry we can not be more specific with the pages, this is due to children having different books. When reading the time on the clock remember that the long hand points to the minutes and the short hand points to the hour.
In History next term we will be learning all about Ancient Egypt and we would love for you to collect some interesting facts. You may choose to find information from books, ask people in your house or use the internet. If you choose to use the internet BBC Bitesize have a wonderful website with lots of interesting facts and videos and the link can be found below.

Please could you read for 5 to 10 minutes again today, we would like to challenge you to
read in the most unusual place in your house or garden. Extra dojo points will be given to children who send pictures of themselves in unusual places.
We would also like you to continue with the nutrition diary as well as learning ‘ I can sing a rainbow’ in Makaton.
As always if you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch with us on Class Dojo or Facebook. We love seeing what you get up to during your day so make sure you send us lots of pictures, each task you complete earns you dojo points and you also get additional points for other activities you do during your day.
Have a great day and stay safe.
