Good Morning Year 3 😀

Another fantastic day yesterday, we love seeing all the wonderful things that you are doing, make sure you keep those pictures and messages coming! 

Today in Maths we would like you to go on a shape hunt around your house and garden, we would like you to hunt for 2D and 3D shapes. When you’ve found a shape please write the name of the object and the name of the shape. We have  attached a file with the names and pictures of the shapes on to help you. 

In English today we would like you to make your very own acrostic poem about Ancient Egypt. It would be great if you could include adjectives and alliteration in your poem too.

For the time capsule activity today we would like to you write a letter to your future self and draw a picture of yourself in the box at the bottom. You can open the letter at the end of the year to see if anything has changed. 

Please try and make time to read today, you may choose to read a bedtime story to someone in your house or to read part of your favourite book.
