Treetots (2 to 3 year old) Admissions

Admissions to Treetots is administered by the local authority.  Please visit the Walsall Family Information Services website using the link below for further information.  This web page will outline the eligibility criteria and provide further details about how to apply for a place.  Treetots is open from 1pm to 4pm Monday to Friday only.

Nursery (3 to 4 year old) Admissions

The school governing body have accepted admission arrangements as advised by the Local Education Authority and these are used to prioritise applications for places which the school will allocate.

Our admission criteria is as follows:

    1. Children in local authority care.

    2. Children who have a brother or sister already attending Moorcroft Wood Primary when the admission is made.

    3. Children for whom a place at the school is essential on medical or social grounds supported in writing by a medical practitioner or social worker.

    4. In distance between the home address and the school as measured in a straight line, with priority given to those living closest.

Should you wish to apply for a place in our Nursery class please complete the attached application form and return it to the school office along with the child's birth certificate.

Reception Admission

Places in Reception class are administered by the local authority and parents can apply for places through the application portal. 

The portal usually opens in November and closes by mid-January (make sure you check the dates and apply in time) for children due to start in the following September.
