Reading
This week we have practised reading and writing the letters ‘c’ and ‘k’ during our RWI lessons and with Geraldine the Giraffe.
For your reading task today, click on the link below and enjoy the comic ‘A Nap’ from Phonics Play Comics. This comic book story has lots of words in that contain the sounds ‘c’ and ‘k’.
It would be fantastic if you can have a go at reading some of the words yourself using your Fred talk to help you. If you are a little bit stuck on a word ask an adult if they can Fred talk the word for you (e.g. n-a-p), listen carefully and then tell them what the word says (e.g. n-a-p, nap). Children can also tell the story using the pictures if they find the word reading a little challenging.
