In Reception, we are learning new maths skills everyday through our Power Maths lessons. Throughout the year we will learn to count, recognise numbers, subitize, find number bonds within 10, identify one more and one less than a given number and much, much more.
Power Maths have created an app called 'School Jam'. The app allows you to see what we have been learning about each week in our maths lessons, has some helpful parent/carer videos for ideas on how you can continue this learning at home, and has games for children to play. Children have taken a letter home that will show you how to set up the app and provide you with their username and password. If anyone hasn't received or misplaced the letter, please get in touch and I can get a new one sent out to you.
