I have been in education and a qualified teacher for over 16 years and have taught in Sandwell, Worcestershire, Dudley and now Walsall.  During my time in education, I have had the pleasure of working across different key stages and have taught every year group in the primary phase.  Similarly, I have held various leadership roles throughout my career in education and have strategically led a variety of subjects including Maths, Science and English; writing being a tremendous passion of mine. 

I have two children of my own that keep me feeling young and challenge me every day; I think being a mother is a far harder job than being a teacher!  My philosophy stems from giving every child the very best and if I feel it's good enough for my children then it's good enough for the children at Moorcroft Wood. I feel so privileged to work with the children and staff and feel so lucky to be able to see children flourish from the very moment they enter the school.  The outdoor environment at Moorcroft Wood is second to none and we utilise it to its full effect.  Why don’t you come and see what we’re all about; the Moorcroft family will be ready to greet you with open arms.  It really is a very special place.
