Good Morning Year 3 🙂
We hope that everyone had a great weekend are is raring to go with another week of home school learning.
Today in English we would like you to complete the activity on page 4 of your new CGP workbook. This page is all about adjectives, adjectives describe nouns to tell you more about something.
For example: It was a terrible book.
The word 'terrible' is an adjective. It tells us what the book (the noun) was like.
In Maths you’ll be completing the activity on page 9 of the KS2 workbook, this task is all about 10 or 100 more or less. When you are asked to add 10 more or less please look at the tens column to begin with and if you are adding or subtracting hundreds then focus on the hundreds column.
Today in Spanish we would like you to learn how to talk about family and pets. In the link below there are three videos and four activities which are all about describing family members and pets. Please watch all of the videos as they will help you with your pronunciation and then choose two of the activities to complete. Try to use the new vocabulary as much as possible as this will help you remember it, you could ask your family to test you or you could even test their Spanish knowledge.

We’d love to see you getting involved with Joe Wicks’ PE lessons at 9am, if you can’t make the morning lesson then you can watch one of his other fitness videos on his YouTube channel. If you’d like to try something different you might want to give beginners yoga a go, whatever you decide to do make sure you get active and have fun 🙂
It’s great to hear that so many of you are keeping up with the daily reading, please find at least 15 minutes to read a book or magazine today. Reading is a great way to relax so you might want to read just before bed or once you’ve done your exercising.
We’re here to help so contact us on Class Dojo or Facebook. Have a super day and we look forward to seeing your smiley faces on zoom tomorrow.
Have fun and stay safe
