Good Morning!
We hope you have had a great weekend and relaxed after all of the hard work you did last week. You were all superstars and thank you parents/carers for all of your hard work and support.
Our timetable has changed slightly with times, so please check the daily timetable.

Geography
Today we will be starting the day by continuing with our Geography topic on China. We will learn about what life is like in China, including the main human and physical features. Use the slides on the PowerPoint on our class page to learn all about China. We will be looking at how Chinese life might be different or similar to life in the UK. What is school like in China? How might going to school in China be different or similar to going to school in the UK? What is the weather like in China? What do we know about the weather in the UK? Why is the weather like this?
Then use the sheet provided or your blue work book to create a factsheet all about China following the heading given on the worksheet provided.

Today we are looking at column addition following on from our addition Maths on Friday.
Column addition is when we out the first number above the second number.
For example:
21 + 11 =
This would become
To solve this we need to start in the ones column
So we would 1+1= 2 and write the answer in the box underneath.
Next we move onto the tens column. So 2=1= 3would look like:
The math story would look like 21+11=32
I have attached column addition question sheet on the class page on the website. The link is below:
We will look at a,b,c and d on our Google Classroom so please start from e. You need to answer at least 8 questions in your Maths book after e. If you complete the entire sheet there will be extra dojo’s up for grabs.
