Handwriting

This morning we learnt how to read and write the letter ‘c’. Can you remember how to write ‘c’? The more we practise forming our letters, the better we will get so impress an adult in your house by showing them how to write ‘c’.

Once you have done this, I’d love to see how well you are getting on with writing your name. So grab some paper and some felt tips or wax crayons, pencils, whatever you would like to write with today, and practise writing your first name lots of time on your paper. Can you write your name independently today?

If you can write your first name easily, ask an adult to check all your letters are formed the correct way. If you have got any back to front don’t worry, we know these are letters to keep practising and practise makes perfect! So choose a different colour and practise writing those letters lots of times, the right way around.
