We are going to recap practising how to form the number 4 today. The song below is the ‘Maths Makes Sense’ song that we use in school to help us form the number 4.

Down, slide, cut in half,
down, slide, cut in half,
down, slide, cut in half,
to make the number four.
(Children point their finger in the air, bring it down at a slant before sliding to the right and then drawing a line straight down to cut in half as they sing the rhyme)
