Creating a fact file

Today we will we will be creating a fact file to share information about an animal. Here is an example:

Each section of the fact file shares information under a subheading so that the information is organised clearly.

This is my level 1 example for crocodiles. 

We have spent some time this week practising lots of high level sentence types that would be perfect for this activity.

I have allocated you a new set of stories in your Bug Club library. Remember to read the story carefully and click on the bugs to answer questions along the way. You can chose which story to read each day.

You will need a coin or a flat object like a coaster.

Golden Time

Flat Me

As part of our transition to Year 2, I would like you to complete a mini project.

I would like you to create a flat version of yourself on paper or card. Make sure you colour or decorate it carefully.

Once complete, I would like you to take your Flat Me on a mini-adventure around your home and get in to mischief. Take a photo of your Flat Me in many different crazy places and send them to me on ClassDojo.

You may also wish to create a Flat Teacher from school to join you on your adventure.

Be sure to stay at home or in your garden until Tuesday when our isolation period is over.
