This week in Maths we have been focusing on mental addition and subtraction and we would like the children to continue working on this at home. We have been putting the biggest number in our heads and then subtracting or adding the smaller number to it.
The English homework this week it to continue writing a story. We have given the children a picture and the start of the story and it's up to them to finish writing it. We are looking for capital letters, full stops, adjectives and adverbs in their writing.
As always we ask that the children read at home 4 times a week and practise the spellings for the test on a Friday.
