Good Morning Year 3 :-)
Today will be the last day that we set home school activities on a daily basis before the Easter holiday. We wanted to say well done for all that you have achieved during the past 2 weeks, you have done yourselves proud!
For today’s English activity we would like you to go on a noun hunt around your house. We would like you to find a noun (person, place or item) that starts with each letter of the alphabet in your house and or garden. For example:
Apple
Book
Chair
If you feel like a challenge then you can add an adjective to describe that noun or even add an alliteration such as awesome apple, brilliant book or colourful chair.
In Maths today we would like you to complete the multiplication wheel that we have attached to the Year 3 class page. You can use arrays to help you find the answer or you can work the answers out mentally. We’ve also attached a Easter Egg colour by numbers division sheet too if you’d like a go at that.
We enjoyed asking you to solve the riddle last week and we had lots of replies so we thought that we would end the week with two riddles. Remember when you think you know the answer please message us and if your right we’ll award you with dojo points!
As always we love to hear that you’ve been reading so please try to find between 5 and 10 minutes today to read a book. Today is also the last day for those nutrition diaries so don’t forget to record all the tasty food that you’ve been eating.
We are well over our class dojo target for a prize when we return to school (yay)! Any work that you send us will earn you even more dojo points which will make an even greater prize so keep those messages coming in! If you have any questions about the work or need any help please contact us on class dojo or Facebook.
As today is the last day of the term we will be setting a project for the Easter holiday. Please check back later for more details.
Have a great day and stay safe.
