This week in Maths we have been learning about quarter, half and three quarter turns as well as turning in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction. The children have done a brilliant job with the activities in the lesson and we would like them to continue building their skills at home by completing the direction activity which requires them to give directions to different locations.
The English task this week is to change the tense of sentences so that they are in the past tense. The children know that past tense means that the events have already happened and to look out for those 'ed' verbs which help us to identify the tense of the sentence.
As always we would like children to read 4 times this week and to practise their 2,5 and 10 times tables.
