Forest Schools & Choosing Time
It’s time to choose! You might like to try out an activity below or play with your own toys and games at home. Whatever you do, have a fun afternoon!
Forest School Ideas:
- Who doesn’t love getting muddy! Get some old clothes on and get outside, if it is safe to do so, and create a little mud kitchen. Ask an adult nicely if they have any old containers, pots or pans you can use. Take them outside, mix and make, and have an outdoor kitchen disco.
Indoor Choosing Activity Ideas:
- You might like to do some fruit printing with the fruit from our story earlier. For example, cut an apple in half, dip it in paint and print it onto some paper. Can you make a repeating pattern using the fruit prints? You might print in alternate colours (e.g. red, blue, red, blue) or maybe using two different fruits (e.g. orange, lemon, orange, lemon).
- Have your own disco in the house. Turn the lights down, get the music on and dance away!
- Maybe you would like to make some fruit kebabs. Again, can you make any repeating patterns doing this?
