Forest Schools & Choosing Time

I love to feed the birds in my garden at home and watch as they fly around. I find it relaxing to take some time to simply watch the birds and forget about everything else going on.

This weekend is the RSPB 'Big Garden Birdwatch'. The idea is that you spend an hour counting the birds you see in your garden or from your window, then inform the RSPB of what you see. You might like to sign up to take part in this event or you might simply like to just take some time this weekend to enjoy nature and the birds around you. Maybe you could find out some of the names of the birds that visit your garden or local area. Or you might like to take out a pencil and piece of paper and draw what you see. Whatever you like to do to take some time to relax and enjoy the natural world around you.

If you would rather play inside with your lovely games and toys then that is fine too. You have all worked incredibly hard this week so make sure whatever you do this afternoon, you have lots of fun!

Have a great weekend too. laugh
