BRAND NEW Bug Club Reading Scheme

Moorcroft Wood have invested in a brand new reading scheme to help support children with their reading during these difficult times.

The Bug Club combines printed books with interactive eBooks to create a unique learning platform which is proven to help children make 30 months of progress in reading in just 18 months! It can also be accessed through any device that is connected to the internet including your home PCs, tablets and mobile devices.

Each child has their own individual "log in" that takes them to a special home page.

Here they will find a selection of books already allocated to them dependent on their present Book Band.

A key benefit to this scheme is we here at school will be able to see what books each child has  read, how often it has been read and how questions have been answered demonstrating their understanding of what they have just read.

Then when appropriate, we will be able to support and develop your child's reading by moving them to a new book band, opening up a whole new set of books!

There is also a whole host of rewards available to child as they complete their books.

How To Log Into Bug Club

• Click onto this link

• Your username is the child's first name. This MUST be written with a capital letter at the start (ie Fred or Daisy)
• Your password is the same used for Google Classroom

       (please contact me via Class Dojo if you need reminding of what that password is).

• School code is w3s3.
• Then by clicking on SIGN IN you will then be taken to the below page which is your child's home space.
